The movement currently has 45,000 members present in all 10 dioceses of the country!

What kind of activities do you do?
The greatest activity is the education of children and youth: a spiritual, moral, social and human education. This is accompanied by awareness raising, animation and formation of these young people and children. In addition to this, we organize the following activities: the bivouacs or training camps for leaders during the summer holidays, from July to September of each year; 3 national camps (called Kanaredyo) with responsibles on national level to plan and evaluate regularly the progress of activities at national level; the General Meetings; diocesan congresses; activities in the framework of environmental protection. We also print several documents about the Movement: its history, its principles, its organization and its various activities; a training and information bulletin called "Twonpèt"; and several other activities related to the time and challenges of the moment!

Do your members wear a uniform or use any kind of symbol?
Yes, our members wear a specific uniform, one for boys and one for girls, with special features to the section level of the member.

Do you have a year theme?
Yes, each year we choose a theme. For the year 2015-2016, the theme is: "Ann kolabore pi byen konsakre ak nou yo pou ... Kiwo n viv 55 kan." The translation is "Kiro, let us make an effort to collaborate well with the consecrated ... to live well the 55 years of the Movement."
This theme includes 2 realities: the first is the year of consecrated life that just passed. We want to take this opportunity to ask our members to always work closely with all the consecrated at all levels because it are the devoted ones who are primarily responsible for the Kiro Movement. The second reality is the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Kiro Movement in Haiti: 1960-2015. That is why we want this year to serve as a springboard to strengthen the collaboration between Kiro and the consecrated to properly celebrate this anniversary and to continue working for a better future.
