New presidium for FIMCAP Europe

In October the FIMCAP EuroConference took place in Malta, with delegates from 9 European member organizations. A strategic plan for 2018-2019 was approved, a pool of trainers and a pool of communication was established, the internal rules were updated and a new presidium was elected.

Congratulations to Fr. Reuben Gauci, Matthias Schneider, Stan Driesens and Bernd Hirschberger as European presidium for the next 3 years. Good luck in all your plans!

Looking for a World Camp coordinator

FIMCAP is looking for an enthusiastic coordinator for the FIMCAP World Camp. Every 3 years FIMCAP organizes a World Camp as encounter for young people and young youth leaders from all over the world. In 2018 it’s time for the 8th edition of the World Camp, and it will be hosted by Chiro Philippines.

The organization of the World Camp involves much planning and preparation. To strengthen this team FIMCAP is looking for a voluntary coordinator.

Continental conferences

Both FIMCAP Europe as FIMCAP Africa will organize their continental conference this autumn.

From the 11th until the 15th of October the EuroConference will take place in Malta, hosted by ZAK. Delegates from all European member organizations are expected on this conference to plan the work and the projects of FIMCAP Europe for the next years. A new presidium will be elected.

The AfroConference will take place from the 12th until the 20th of November in Ghana, hosted by CYO Ghana. Theme will be the Sustainable Development Goals. The action plans of the members will be discussed, and a training guide developed. Also here a new presidium for the next years will be elected.

Next Step

Are you ready to take a next step?

Next Step is a training for youth leaders who want to increase their international competences. It will take place from the 15th until the 20th of October in the Silkeborg Højskole in Denmark. This training course aims at 2 target groups. On the one hand youth leaders that are interested in setting up international activities, and on the other hand members of international committees that want to share and work on the challenges they are facing as international committee.
