Network

In FIMCAP we try to uncover and understand the specific needs of children and young people all over the world. We build upon the local experiences of our members to track down the needs of young people and youth workers and develop actions to deal with them.
We represent our member organisations in international bodies – to be a strong voice of young people.
Mission Statement

International Platforms

  • ICMYO

FIMCAP is part of the International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organizations (ICMYO).  ICMYO is not an organization in itself, but a meeting of international youth organizations and regional youth platforms who come together to collaborate.  The main objective of ICMYO is to strengthen the cooperation of youth organizations and to speak with a stronger voice on topics related to youth and youth work.

    • FIMCAP Europe is represented in the European Youth Forum.

    • FIMCAP Asia is part of COYA – Catholic Youth Organizations of Asia. COYA started in 2007, when various Catholic youth organizations and movements present in various Asian countries gathered together with the desire to enrich one another with the sharing of faith and experiences. FIMCAP Asia is an active member of the council of COYA.

    • FIMCAP is a structural partner of Broederlijk Delen, a Belgian non governmental organization.

  • European Fellowship of Christian Youth
    • FIMCAP Europe cooperates closely with the European Fellowship of Christian Youth. The European Fellowship is a network of Christian Youth Organizations, with similar aims like FIMCAP. FIMCAP and the European Fellowship organize together the training Course “Next Step” and cooperate together in “EuroClass”, a study program on youth work.
