The FIMCAP World Camp will take place in July 2022 in Botswana. Our host, Chiro Botswana, developed a song and dance especially for the World Camp. You can watch and practice the dance here.
The message from Chiro Botswana:
“It’s infused with the Setswana rhythm and tradition dance at the beginning that is accompanied by ululations. That’s how Batswana (natives of Botswana) show their jubilation. Then there is a transition to the modern genre called ‘amapion beats’ currently in fashion in the southern African region together with its dance. It’s appealing to the youth here and we hope that you will love it.”
